I CAN'T SEE MY FEET!

Inspired by the visual artist Sergio Lombardo’s manifesto, the solo explores how to reach a state of Spontaneity in terms of movement quality, space handling, and time management in a place of un-spontaneity - the theatre performance.

Spontaneity lives in all unconscious elaborations, such as dreams and emotional outbursts. One way to make these situations play together in an awakening state is to produce a sensory deprivation experience. Accordingly, Carla denies herself the sense of sight, reaching a deep emotional awakening, and depicting a dimension of vivid and frightful dreams for the audience.
